Hurricane Helene was terrible for so many people. This valley was fortunate and saw no serious damage. The creeks are at normal levels, the land is firm again, and infrastructure is intact: well water safe, power and internet.

The Oasis offers some privacy and doesn't feel cramped. Bordered on three sides by farms, you'll enjoy the sound of nothing, save the occasional cow moo or rooster crow.
